UNREVEALING WINDOWS

The window proposes transparency. With the transparency there is created a connection between the interior and exterior, by a framed delimitation of a view. Without this connection, the window looses its original ability to depict movement from either side, only connecting the two “realities” through an appearance of light from either side.

Thereby the quality of an unrevealing window is altered into a vague source of light, or just a purely esthetically opening on the interior or exterior wall, exploring the limits of when a window eventually turns into something else.
